Something to Remember

It is Remembrance Day in our part of the world.  It is good to remember those, like my brother, who were willing to give their lives so that others could have liberty.

The best thing that we can remember on this or any day is found in Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the evil days come and the years draw near
when you will say, “I have no delight in them”

Our liberty and and our freedoms are precious gifts,
but not nearly as precious as eternal life offered to us by God.
Neither are they as precious as a life wholly dedicated to serve God.
I suggest that you read the Bible and find more things worth remembering on this day and every other day of the year.

A parting remembrance:
If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9
